Week 12 April 23 - 27
Goals:
1. Know and be able to use the equation velocity = wavelength * frequency
2. Be familiar with the electromagnetic spectrum.
i. what it is.
ii. What all parts of it have in common.
iii. What is different about its parts.
3. Know what happens when waves meet.
4. Be able to apply wave vocabulary to sound waves.
Activities:
Monday: Go over quiz. Discussion/lecture/demonstrations on sound
Block day: Discuss EM spectrum discussion and design and run an experiment to find out what happens when wave pulses on a slinky run into each other.
Thursday: Variety of review activities and brief demonstrations about resonance and standing waves.
Friday: Film and Quiz

2. Introduction and conclusion for slinky experiment
